Dan has a wealth of experience and knowledge working for HMPPS in prisons for 7 years, as a prison officer and a conflict resolution practitioner in the youth estate. Before moving to the adult estate to become a rehabilitative culture and equalities lead. During his time working for the prison service, he gained a foundation degree in youth justice estate, and is now working towards a degree in this field.

Dan worked alongside the Growth project before joining the team when he was rehabilitative culture and equalities lead in HMP Hewell. Dan is a strong believer in growth and rehabilitation and has a desire to support prisons in changing their culture and to support this on a wider scale.
